I said: "I think I'm dpressed"
He said: "regarding what?"
I said: " I dunno....I've been bubbling with dissatisfaction for a while now
uneasy not knowing what I was feeling.....Deepika told me i'm sad"
He said: " that's a state of mind that you alone can change"
I said nothing".............................."
He said: "spill out your mind's content it's always good to talk about your feelings"
I said nothing"...................................."
He changed the subject.......................

For the Guys
(Something every guy knows......)
-Contributed by Arun Sharma (Uncle arun:)
Phone calls end in 30 seconds flat.
You don't monitor your friend's sex life.
Old friends don't find you thin or fat.
You can go to loo without a support group.
If someone forgets to invite you, he/she can still be your friend for life.
You don't have to shave below you neck.
3 pairs of shoes are more than enough.
The World is your urinal.
People don't glance at your chest when they are talking to you.
You can buy condoms without shop keeper imagining you naked.
You dont pretend 'freshning up' to go the bathroom.
If you don't call your buddy when you say you will, he wont tell friends you have changed.

FOR THE LADIES
contirbuted by Ron
60 Things Not to Say to a Naked Guy
1. I've smoked fatter joints than that.
2. Ahh, it's cute.
3. Who circumcised you?
4. Why don't we just cuddle?
5. You know they have surgery to fix that.
6. It's more fun to look at.
7. Make it dance.
8. You know, there's a tower in Italy like that.
9. Can I paint a smiley face on that?
10. It looks like a night crawler.
11. Wow, and your feet are so big.
12. My last boyfriend was 4'' bigger.
13. It's ok, we'll work around it.
14. Is this a mild or a spicy Slim Jim?
15. Eww, there's an inch worm on your thigh.
16. Will it squeak if I squeeze it?
17. Oh no, a flash headache.
18. (giggle and point)
19. Can I be honest with you?
20. My 8-year-old brother has one like that.
21. Let me go get my tweezers.
22. How sweet, you brought incense.
23. This explains your car.
24. You must be a growing boy.
25. Maybe if we water it, it'll grow.
26. Thanks, I needed a toothpick.
27. Are you one of those pygmies?
28. Have you ever thought of working in a sideshow?
29. Every heard of clearasil?
30. All right, a treasure hunt!
31. I didn't know they came that small.
32. Why is God punishing you?
33. At least this won't take long.
34. I never saw one like that before.
35. What do you call this?
36. But it still works, right?
37. Damn, I hate baby-sitting.
38. It looks so unused.
39. Do you take steroids?
40. I hear excessive masturbation shrinks it.
41. Maybe it looks better in natural light.
42. Why don't we skip right to the cigarettes?
43. Oh, I didn't know you were in an accident.
44. Did you date Lorena Bobbitt?
45. Aww, it's hiding.
46. Are you cold?
47. If you get me real drunk first.
48. Is that an optical illusion?
49. What is that?
50. I'll go get the ketchup for your french fry.
51. Were you neutered?
52. It's a good thing you have so many other talents.
53. Does it come with an air pump?
54. So this is why you're supposed to judge people on personality.
55. Where are the puppet strings?
56. Your big gun is more like a BB gun.
57. Look, it fits my Barbie clothes.
58. Never mind, why bother.
59. Is that a second belly button?
60. Where's the rest of it?

Untitled---
You asked me to join you with a voice not sincere
Masked with a plea, hiding a fear
Terrifying the consequence, of an affirmative reply.
I didn't disappoint with my firm goodbye.
I hid tense tears behind dark glasses
Choked back cries in the back of my throat
Stood petrified as I watched you go slipping
Away from me in false bottomed boat
Its better to loose you on terms of my own
Than to face your rejection, when pretences are worn
So I put up a front, a brave happy face
And live with my choice for the rest of my days.

A day spent engaged in dialogue exploring Globalization and its impact....
all in lieu of the World Social Forum scheduled to be held in Mumbai
from the 16th to the 21st
please register soon....
Chomsky is supposed to be one of the speakers
but as the date approaches people seem to be skeptical about him actually being there....
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
(another mature response)
Git's brought out an interesting point about people excepting fascism easily, if they've had a dominating father figure....
Think about it.... spin this off in your head...you have a dominating father, the head of the household, the final say in all matters.....you're so used to this father figure in your life, a dictator or monarch taking over is like a larger representation of an accepted reality for you.....there would be no dissent....and fascism would rule uninterrupted.....so much for the concept of a father land.....see they were doomed from the start.
patriarchy and fascism....hand in hand, talk about deadly duo's.

Let me tell you a bit about weeds…
Some weeds are addictive…. so you enjoy them for a while…But then eventually realize… that they’re a health hazard…and you weed them out…
Some weeds are apparent, but they’re pretty so you keep them around just for a while till they start to choke the other more valuable plants…then you toss them out…they have out lived their utility….
Then there are some weeds that are not so apparent…Like Lantana…They appear to be pretty, flowering, valuable plants, you are pleased with them; You think they make your garden beautiful; That they add to it, but all the while they are choking the worthwhile plants. Only from beneath the surface though…so you only realize you’re garden is in trouble (most often) when its too late… These are the most dangerous of weeds
they insidiously eat away at the essence of your garden…Leaving it bare…Till all you can see around is Lantana…Beware of this weed…it’s the good looking…pleasing to the eye weed, with berries to offer…But it will make your garden barren…
the above post is wholly a metaphor, it has nothing absolutely to do with plants, weeds or gardens…I’m using an analogy so as not to sound too blunt…Still can’t guess what its about We all need the valuable flowering plants, but we need the weeds as well…just so that we may appreciate our flowering plants some more …
This Post is Dedicated to My Soul Mate……A Valuable Flowering Plant masquerading as a weed… who is just realizing the power of denial and desire.....
This is a re-published post.....
For him, See I'm starting from scratch......and for Him, whom I'm trying to scratch out....

Well Well well looky here its already 2004, and I was just getting comfy with 2003
:S:S:S
If any one else wishes me "happy new year" I'll scream..........
anyway, I brought in the New Year surounded by my favourites, My parents, best friends (Di, kaleex), rakhi bro, and the ocean.....:)
lay in the sand and got all toasty, splashed in the sea, sat on the rocks, rocked in a hammock, and danced the night away to some of my fave tunes, the dj was a little boy trying hard to impress us...:)
I had such a great time........
But now its back to responsibilities, parents have left and I'm scrambling to meet self imposed deadlines....
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
(I see the new year has not brought maturity with it)
