From the dizzy heights of delight to the depths of dissatisfaction, this would describe the last 48 hours for me………Had a great time at Kal’s parents 25th wedding anniversary…really rocking party……..danced continuously from 9pm to 1am…..had heaps and heaps of fun……and equal amounts of vodka….: ) We girls really heated up the dance floor…inspired by the T.A.T.U song ;) especially divie who dances really well but will never dance…except on rare occasion like last night YAY!!….and then there was the loo…….which was a unisex loo…..right next to our party venue was a pub which shared the loo with us..…picture this half drunk pub goers and enthu party crowd...men and women, boys and girls aunties and uncles and one loo!!!!
….ah yes.... we had quite a bit of fun in there what with men and women queuing up to have a go….and all the preening and pruning at the common wash basin and mirrors…..hehehehe yup very very ally mcbeal saw a lot, and laughed my head off....Now for the down in the dumps part……..I dunno how to explain it….just this general feeling of dissatisfaction, which has been bubbling under the surface and now has surfaced…eeeeekkk And yes……went to the Orchid to source a venue for my upcoming party….guess what....the great economical option Prodigal has been raving about…ya well its already been booked, just my luck huh…….: (
and meeting Prodigal alone again wasn't a treat at all........

Its been an interesting last few days........have sunk into the depths of sloth(ishness) is there such a word as slothishness??
--A very close friend had an accident
--Another very close friend came over after a really long time
--Had a nice n friendly heart to heart with prodigal.......till we realised it was midnight.....and then we were all uncomfy about the fact that we had stayed up chatting for that long we're afterall supposed to be denying the fact that we do get along, and quiet well, if I should say so myself.....much to the horror of our respective self righteous sides...there still exists a certain chemistry...potent???...yes...wrong???...perhaps...will I quit???...NOT!!!! I think u guys knew that was coming

"....and he wondered why he didn't find girls yucky and gross anymore, in fact he found himself thinking about them a lot, especially Danny's older sister Doreen, and way she habitually flicked the tip of her pink tounge out and licked her lower lip...."
----> From Transition To What??
What an experience it was…………:
Friday night Kalika invited me to join her and some of her family and friends to the much awaited opening of Cirkus Cirkus…..and It was Far out……..was welcomed by a man on stilts at the door……and this guy in a khathak mask doing a Moulin Rouge--sque welcome
What gets you immediately is the Dance floor; the dance floor (one of them) is Glass and is suspended over a swimming pool!!!!…….Its really quite scary at first……..I mean Glass……..brittle, dancing on brittle substance……but once the music gets going and you’re up there its quite kool……..We got the whole tour thing done first, three bar counters, 2 dance floors, two lounging areas, three big screens very spacious very well done up, each area has a different look feel and a theme to it…….
There were jugglers, face painters, a mimic (who was good till he started speaking!!), a portrait maker, magicians…….yeah totally circus circus : )
They also had these injection girls, no they were not giving flu shots, these huge syringes were full of this concoction---white rum, red wine, some other stuff and pineapple juice
Yummy But potent…these girls would come up to you, and spray it into your open mouth!!!! Aha I got my head tilted back by Vishall (Nis’s friend and the club owner Vithal Kamats son) and got a full load shot down my throat, eeeeeeekkkkkk
And Nis had to be gross and say something like, “Oh So you do swallow!!”
Did I say eeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkk
Ah yes Nischint was there as well, so he finally met Kal and Divie.
Us girls drinks in hand did have a good time……..One Vodka and orange, a Casablanca, two injections and a bacardi breezer later, I was ready for another go on the dance floor avec my little bro Prats (originally Kal's little bro now mine also by virtue of Rakhi tying) and this other guy whose name I forget (ashish?? akshay? mmmm dunno)….which was kooler than the first time when I went avec Nis and Vishall and we were the only ones up there besides a Clown, yes a clown no not some guy I’m dising a real live two and a half feet high clown, whose dance moves nis began to ape…..
I for my part swayed uncomfortably watching Nis and his bizzaro jhankar dance steps hehehhehe
No No it was not the company I was with (no offence to Nis and Vishall) (sticks tounge out) it was just that we were watched by virtually everyone there and camera’s clicking and us projected on the big screens……..a bit too attention seeking even for moi…..
Did I say eeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk Yet??
But I had a blast…….and I totally recommend it……

Today's post is By DALE its in italics cause its quoted directly from his mail to me.......
he's very intelligent and funny as this post clearly reflects ( but unfortunately lives like hazzar miles away........)
This is what he says........

I wonder how long George W is going to wait before he
decides to use the Columbia crash to further his own agenda?

"This was clearly an act of atmospherical terror. We will not allow the
atmosphere to attack our freedom...our democracy. We believe that the
atmosphere is a terrorist entity with cells spanning the entire world.
We will not idly stand by while the threat of future attacks exists. We
will eradicate this threat from the face of the earth."

"We ask that all oil companies increase production. Congress is
currently tabling a law requiring car companies to only produce SUVs and to
remove all emission control devices. Car pooling must be outlawed, as must
public transportation. We will relentlessly bomb the atmosphere with CO2 until
the terrorist forces are eliminated, and the threat to our space program is
no more."

"This is what happens when countries agree to such terrorist friendly
ideas as the Kyoto accord. To all those still thinking about ratifying the
treaty, remember, you are either with us or against us
"

and to conclude he included a quote ....By Bertrand Russell...to invoke the horror of the past to justify those of the present is gross hypocrisy.-

BEING TWENTY - SOMETHING years old...
They call it the "Quarter-life Crisis." It is when you
stop going along with the crowd and start realizing
that there are many things about yourself that you
didn't know and may not like. You start feeling
insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or
two, but then get scared because you barely know where
you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that,
maybe, those friends that you thought you were so
close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have
ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are
some of the most important ones. What you don't
recognize is that they are realizing that too, and
aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that
they are as confused as you.

You look at your job... and it is not even close to
what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are
looking for a job and realizing that you are going to have
to start at the bottom and that scares you.

Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what
others are doing and find yourself judging more than
usual because suddenly you realize that you have
certain boundaries in your life and are constantly
adding things to your list of what is acceptable and
what isn't. One minute, you are insecure and then the
next, secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest
force of your life. You feel alone and scared and
confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try
and cling on to the past with dear life, but soon
realize that the past is drifting further and further
away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you
are or move forward.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you
loved could do such damage to you. Or you lie in bed
and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough
that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love
someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out
why you're doing this because you know that you aren't a
bad person. One night stands and random hook ups start
to look cheap. Getting wasted and acting like an idiot
starts to look pathetic.
You go through the same emotions and questions over
and over, and talk with your friends about the same
topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

You worry about loans, money, the future and making a life
for yourself... and while winning the race would be
great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!
What you may not realize is that everyone reading this
relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of
times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.
Thanx to Xerxes for the funny posts bellow.......and for his generous act today:)
making up for disappearing on me huh????
These bellow are hillarious I dunno if they're true

They are from a book called Disorder in the Court, and are things
people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters -
who had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place.

Q: Are you sexually active?
A: No, I just lie there.

Q: What is your date of birth?
A: July fifteenth.
Q: What year?
A: Every year.

Q: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact?
A: Gucci sweats and Reeboks.

Q: How old is your son, the one living with you?
A: Thirty-eight or thirty-five, I can't remember which.
Q: How long has he lived with you?
A: Forty-five years.

Q: What was the first thing your husband said to you when he woke up
that morning?
A: He said, "Where am I, Cathy?"
Q: And why did that upset you?
A: My name is Susan.

Q: Do you know if your daughter has ever been involved in voodoo or
the occult?
A: We both do.
Q: Voodoo?
A: We do.
Q: You do?
A: Yes, voodoo.

Q: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he
doesn't know about it until the next morning?

Q: The youngest son, the twenty-year old, how old is he?

Q: Were you present when your picture was taken?

Q: So the date of conception (of the baby) was August 8th?
A: Yes.
Q: And what were you doing at that time?

Q: She had three children, right?
A: Yes.
Q: How many were boys?
A: None.
Q: Were there any girls?

Q: How was your first marriage terminated?
A: By death.
Q: And by whose death was it terminated?

Q: Can you describe the individual?
A: He was about medium height and had a beard.
Q: Was this a male, or a female?

Q: Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a deposition
notice, which I sent to your attorney?
A: No, this is how I dress when I go to work.

Q: Doctor, how many autopsies have you performed on dead people?
A: All my autopsies are performed on dead people.

Q: All your responses must be oral, OK? What school did you go to?
A: Oral.

Q: Do you recall the time that you examined the body?
A: The autopsy started around 8:30 p.m.
Q: And Mr. Dennington was dead at the time?
A: No, he was sitting on the table wondering why I was doing an autopsy

Q: Are you qualified to give a urine sample?

Q: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for blood pressure?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for breathing?
A: No.
Q: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
A: No.
Q: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
A: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
Q: But could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
A: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing
law somewhere
Question: If you could live forever, would you
and why?
Answer: "I would not live forever, because we
should not live forever, because if we were
supposed to live forever, then we would live forever, but
we cannot live forever, which is why I would not live
forever." --Miss Alabama in the 1994 Miss USA contest.

HUH?

"Whenever I watch TV and see those poor
starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry. I
